Andy Bason says reducing carbon emissions is a key goal which will benefit his business financially as well as environmentally. Farm enterprises include a strict soil management policy across some 600ha of combinable crops. The farm switched to minimum tillage in 2000 and is now pushing towards no tillage, only using cultivations strategically.
Transition goals:
- 30% cut in carbon emissions
- Establish 10ha of agroforestry
- Establish 10ha of woodland
