Terms & Conditions: Pride in Farming tractor design competition

These are the terms and conditions covering use of material submitted to the Agrespect, Massey Ferguson & Farmers Weekly Pride in Farming Tractor Design Competition 2021.

  • Every design submitted via the entry form at fwi.co.uk/pride-in-farming will be automatically entered to the competition.
  • Contributions that incite hatred, abuse or discrimination of any kind will be disqualified.
  • In this context, “submitted” is deemed to mean uploaded” via the entry form on FWi titled “Contribute to Pride in Farming Tractor Design Competition”.
  • By submitting a design (or doing so on behalf of someone else), you are confirming that you own the copyright to it and that there will be no fees attached to the use of the design for promotion of the competition in print, web or social by Farmers Weekly, Massey Ferguson or Agrespect, and for the livery of the tractor that will be on parade at Birmingham Pride on 25 September 2021.
  • The competition is open to residents of all ages residing in the UK and Ireland who belong to a farming family or work in any of the affiliated agricultural industries or the supply chain.
  • Other visitors to FWi will be able to see your design once it has been uploaded to the website, so by entering the competition you are granting permission for the design to appear on the website.
  • Farmers Weekly, Agrespect and Massey Ferguson and their affiliated companies and businesses reserve the right to use any of the submitted designs in full or part without limitation – whether in print, on the web, on social media, or in any other medium or format – both in connection with promoting the Pride in Farming Tractor Design Competition and in any other context.
  • People submitting designs to the competition retain the right to use those designs again themselves for personal and/or commercial purposes.
  • You can submit designs that have been entered for other competitions, as long as doing so doesn’t contravene the terms and conditions of those other competitions.
  • There is no limit on the number of designs you can submit.
  • There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter the competition.
  • The winning design will be chosen by a panel of judges comprising representatives from Farmers Weekly, Agrespect and Massey Ferguson. The decision of the judges is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
  • The organisers reserve the right to amend the winning design for the purposes of applying the wrap.
  • The creator of the winning design will receive £250 of Massey Ferguson merchandise.
  • The competition opens from 27 July 2021 and the closing date for entries is 11.59pm on Friday, 20 August 2021.
  • The winner will be notified by email and/or telephone within 28 days of the closing date.
