About Woodland creation

Trees have many benefits to offer farmers. They can protect livestock and crops, mitigate flooding, support nature, improve soil quality, help manage emissions, as well as creating opportunities for diversification and delivering new income streams.

Tree planting and woodland creation can sit alongside food production.  Planting the right tree in the right place can help your farming business become more sustainable as well as delivering environmental benefits.

If you would like to learn more about the benefits of incorporating trees into your farming practice, join us at Little Harle on 26 September.

Our panel of expert speakers comprising representatives from Forestry Commission will be talking about woodland creation, woodland management, the support and advice available to you, as well as answering your questions on tax and much more.
