Video explains the facts of beef production to schools

A TWELVE-MINUTE video explaining how beef is produced from “farm to plate” will be sent to secondary schools throughout the south-west of England.

National Farmers Union regional director Anthony Gibson said the video attempts to explain some of the facts and explore some of the arguments about beef production, processing, safety, welfare and nutrition.

Titled Whats Your Beef, the video was produced by south-west NFU in conjunction with St Merryn Meat Ltd and the Meat and Livestock Commission.
