UK tractor registrations at highest monthly level since 2009
The latest figures from the Agricultural Engineers Association (AEA) show that UK tractor registrations for March 2023 peaked at the highest monthly count since 2009, with 2,223 new machines registered last month alone.
This figure shows an increase of 13% compared with the same time last year, and is more than 20% higher than the seasonal average.

While March often sees the highest number of new tractors registered as farmers prepare to start fieldwork, the AEA says that this abnormally high spike could be down to several factors.
The organisation also hints that the influx points to an easing of supply chain disruptions, allowing manufacturers to work through order backlogs from the past two years.
