Third model takes its place in Case IH CS tractor range
By Andy Collings
CASE IH has added a third model to its Case/Steyr (CS) tractor range.
Falling neatly between the 94hp CS94 and 150hp CS150, the new CS110 model bucks the designation trend by being rated at 113hp.
Power is provided by a four-cylinder turbocharged engine driving through a four-speed powershift box to give 24 forward and 24 reverse gears.
As with the 150, the 110 is equipped with a push-button/joystick transmission control system. The joystick is moved to select the powershift gears and the four ranges are selected by pressing the "hare and tortoise" buttons on top of the joystick.
Hydraulic lift capacity is rated at 6.18t, with the hydraulic system with three remote valves as standard.
For the operator, Case would claim to provide all the needs of the discerning driver including an air suspension seat and an efficient heating and ventilation system.
Case reports it is to build a limited number of CS110s between February and April with the launch price set at £26,500. *
