The Herald reports on farm safety

THE Herald reports on this weeks launch by the Health & Safety Executive (HSE) of a campaign to cut death and injuries on the farm.

Some 71 of the estimated 600 people who have died in farming tragedies in the past 12 years have been children.

The HSEs campaign includes an approved code of practice in agriculture and a simple guide to safety on farms.
