Summer rain brings bumper mushroom harvest in France


Summer rain has brought a mushroom harvest of “biblical proportions”
to the Dordogne region of France, reports The Guardian.


The newspaper reports that huge crops are being sold at high prices
to customers all over France.


But the rains have also saturated orchards and ruined much of the
wheat harvest.
