SQBLA launches beef and lamb projects

THE Scottish Quality Beef and Lamb Association launched a major market research and promotional programme intended to raise the profile of lamb and boost returns to producers.

It has commissioned two research projects to look at how lambs can be better selected on farms and try to identify potentially new products and to develop a strategy for repositioning beef exports when the ban is lifted.
