Sainsbury’s eliminates GM food
SAINSBURYS claims to be Britains first big supermarket chain to have eliminated all genetically modified (GM) ingredients from its own-brand products.
The food group says it has worked with more than 1000 suppliers to review all its products.
It has labelled all relevant items from its 12,000-plus range until it could secure GM-free alternatives.
