New name for Avonmore Waterford

AVONMORE WATERFORD, the Irish dairy company, is to change its name to Glanbia.

The company was formed following the merger of Avonmore and Waterford dairy co-operatives last year.

It is the fourth largest dairy company in the European Union, a leading player in the UK prepared meats business and a significant supplier of fresh milk to the UK and Ireland.
