The sheep have been described as being white faced with clean white wool with a faint yellow spot on them and are said to have the appearance of a continental cross ewe similar to a Texel cross.
A 40-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of theft and remains in police custody.
Farmers’ Union of Wales president Ian Rickman is urging farmers to stay vigilant.
“The economic impact on farmers can be significant, not to mention the anxiety and uncertainty such thefts can have on communities at an already difficult time,” he said.
“It’s vital farmers stay vigilant to the threat of farm thefts and ensure that suitable insurance cover is in place.”
Police are appealing for more information and anyone with who can help should contact Dyfed-Powys Police on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111 quoting reference number 178 of March 23.
