Liquid booster for twin-carrying ewes

FEED ewes carrying twins more energy during late pregnancy with ease, and help them produce richer colostrum with Floc-Lic XP, says supplier Rumenco.

The liquid feed is said to be palatable, with 40% sugar content for readily available energy which may help reduce twin lamb disease, advises Rumenco.

The product also includes essential trace elements and yeast culture. Trace elements, including selenium, are in a highly available form, and the XP yeast culture acts to increase fibre digesting bacteria in the rumen helping to improve milk quality, it adds.

At typical intakes of 0.33 litres a day, Floc-Lic XP costs 9p a ewe a day (01283-511211, fax 01283-511013).
