Just water for the worlds biggest leek
AN AWARD has just been made for the worlds biggest leek which attains a huge size while being fed only on water.
A pair of Thirston leeks measured 349.56 cubic inches, exceeding the world record by almost 23 cubic inches.
The leeks grow over a 10 month period to a length of about 30 inches.
