Gregoire Besson to introduce new version of its Discordon cultivator
From Gregoire Besson comes a new version of its Discordon cultivator, available in 3.2, 3.6 and 4m working widths.
These will carry the same press options as before – 600mm steel “v” profile rings, 740mm rubber rings, plus a new 740mm steel “v” profile ring.
The new machine has an interchangeable tine system which allows operators to swap from standard ripper tines to a subsoil leg capable of working at depths of over 40cm (16in).
The French firm will also premier its new seven furrow on land/in furrow plough. The unit has a 180mm turnover shaft and a similarly dimensioned a beam.
It is fitted with no inclination stops working angle is controlled by the turnover ram with a memory block operated from the cab.
There will be both manual and hydraulically variable-width models available with a variety of boards and skimmers.
