Fast chisel chain cuts the mustard

SAW chain performance versus safety barrier has been broken with the Vanguard 70 series chain, claims Oregon.

Designed for professional to occasional chainsaw users, the company has designed a new type of chain which is said to achieve a high cutting speed through the use of a 3/8in full chisel cutter combined with wide track depth.

Improved safety comes from reduced kickback potential and lower vibration which, measured at the rear handle, is stated to have been reduced by up to 30%.
