FARM TOYS AS PRIZES FOR A YOUNG TALENT

OUR Easter holiday colouring competition could make you the winner of an exciting new toy from Siku, Bruder or Fuchs.

Toys produced by these companies are high quality reproductions of vehicles and equipment from the world of work and leisure with a long life of play ahead of them.

From the Fuchs range we have a pedal tractor which is recommended for children over the age of three. This sturdy vehicle comes complete with a detachable trailer. We have three of these Sit n Ride tractors and trailers (worth £75) for young readers aged four to five years inclusive, who make the best job of colouring our springtime picture.

For children aged six to eight years inclusive we have chosen toys from the Bruder range, five first prizes and five runners-up. The five winners will each receive a John Deere tractor and trailer (ref 02395 worth £19.95) and a Claas combine (ref 02320 worth £12.95), while the senders of the five next best entries will each receive a Case tractor and trailer (ref 02385 worth £17.95). These are big toys. For example, the John Deere tractor and trailer is 635mm (25in) long and the Case tractor and trailer is 645mm (25.4in) long.

The toys that children in the nine to 11 years age group can win are die cast 1:32 scale models from the Siku range, a Massey Ferguson tractor (ref 2868 worth £11.95), a Claas tipping trailer (ref 2866 worth £11.95) and a Deutz-Fahr TopLiner combine (ref 4051 worth £27.95). The five winners will receive one of each.

To enter the competition colour the springtime picture on this page using any type of crayons, pens, pencils or paints. The judges will be looking for imaginative and skilful use of colour and will take age into consideration. The competition is open to children age four to 11 years inclusive and the prizes will be awarded as described above.

Send your entry to Farmlife/Euro Toys Colouring Contest, FARMERS WEEKLY, Quadrant House, The Quadrant, Sutton, Surrey SM2 5AS to arrive no later than Fri, April 11, 1997. Entries cannot be returned. The results will be published in FARMERS WEEKLY. (Usual rules apply. Copies available on request.)
