Dairy output down

MILK production in June fell to 1.2bn litres of butterfat adjusted milk. That is a modest under-production of 10.8m litres. But output is almost 32m litres below last years figure, and cumulative production is down 143m litres. That will reduce pressure on quota prices. Values have already eased back from the recent 7.5p/litre high for leased 4% butterfat. &#42
