Clarkson’s Diddly Squat Farm to host Cereals in 2026

Jeremy Clarkson’s Diddly Squat Farm will become the stage for the renowned Cereals event in 2026, marking an exciting collaboration for the arable industry, Farmers Weekly can exclusively reveal.

The UK’s leading arable technical event, set to take place on 10-11 June 2026, will bring together more than 550 exhibitors and 25,000 visitors at the famous farm in Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire.

Mr Clarkson, who has gained global recognition for his farming ventures on the hit Amazon Prime TV series Clarkson’s Farm, said he looked forward to hosting the event at his 400ha farm, highlighting its significance during tough times for farmers.

“Farmers across the country are facing some of the toughest conditions seen in decades,” Mr Clarkson said.

“So we wanted to be involved in something positive, and hosting Cereals was an opportunity for us to run a large-scale, practical event for UK food producers.

“For us, it will be interesting to see how the event’s crop plots perform on our Cotswold brash land, and of course there will be the pop-up Farmer’s Dog bar and the Hawkstone Filling Station to enjoy.”

Ceres Rural agronomist Charlie Ireland, known as “Cheerful Charlie” in the Clarkson’s Farm series, has been a key figure in curating the event.

“Diddly Squat Farm, like any other, is impacted by unpredictable weather and market volatility,” he said.

“Cereals will provide a platform for discussions on sustainable, profitable food production.”

Real coup

Event director Alli McEntyre said hosting Cereals at such a high-profile venue was a real coup for the arable sector.

“Cereals at Diddly Squat will shine a spotlight on the challenges faced by arable farmers and the broader UK farming sector,” she said.

“This will be an opportunity for industry professionals to connect and explore solutions.”

The event will feature a variety of technical zones including crop plots, agronomy workshops and a networking area with a range of local food and drink options.

Visitors will also have exclusive early access to the 2026 event by registering for Cereals 2025, which is being hosted by Andrew Ward at Heath Farm, Leadenham, Lincolnshire on 11-12 June.

Registration for Cereals 2025 opens on 3 February at cerealsevent.co.uk, with multi-year offers available for both 2025 and 2026.
