Aumarks milkers

WEST Sussex dairy farmer Aubrey Marks took the milking portion of his Aumarks herd to Taunton Market and drew buyers from as faw away as Oxfordshire.

Prices rose to 1500gns for a third calver by Dupasquier Wind.

The sale included a batch of fresh calvers from R W Jenkins Bankstream herd at Bridgwater which reached 1200gns for a heifer.

AVERAGES: Aumarks – 54 in-milk cows £657. Bankstream – 18 in-milk cows £731 and seven calved heifers £973. (Greenslade Taylor Hunt).
