SHAI BRIDES

Shai Brides are a band from Birmingham, who write hectic pop music. They draw comparisons to post-punk and the experimental indie groups of the 1980s such as New Order and Talking Heads, as well as new alternative acts such as Everything Everything and St Vincent, they bring together whirling psychedelic guitars with glittering synths and blistering drumbeats.

Their debut single ‘Joie de Vivre’ was named BBC Introducing West Midlands ‘Track of the Month’ for September 2019 with Alex Noble labelling it “an exception… one of the strongest debuts I’ve heard in my time on this programme.”
