The second annual Rethinking Cattle Performance workshop series will be running three workshops in 2018 from May to November. All workshops will be taking place on farms around the country, to give people from across the UK the chance to attend and learn from experts and interact with their peers. Below are locations and dates for the workshops
All those in attendance will also be in the chance of winning a free toolkit worth over £100 (4 toolkits available per workshop). The toolkit will be jam-packed with useful items to get you started on your journey of improving your cattle rearing enterprise including:
- Colostrum-quality refractometer
- Vaccine care cards
- Calf jacket
- Guides on a range of important cattle management factors

Beef workshop
22 November, Dorset- Focus on beef farmers with suckler herd who are also rearing bought-in calves

3 December, Cumbria- Focus on dairy farmers rearing heifer replacements (with a focus on genomics)

Attendees will be asked to complete a short anonymous questionnaire following their registration. This information will be used at the start of the workshops to provide a short introduction and benchmark those present against what is happening more generally across the industry.
