The Farmers Weekly Awards Show ran over five evenings in February, announcing the 2020 Awards winners and celebrating British farming’s successes. Hosted by Adam Henson, the shows featured the people behind some of the biggest stories of 2020 and dozens of special guests, including:

The FW Awards Show

Part One: Sunday 7 February at 18.00

The week-long show begins with an address from secretary of state, George Eustice, and then we go straight into the Lifetime Achievement Award followed by Ag Student, Arable Adviser and Arable Farmer of the year. We also start with the first part of our A-Z of farming.

Tonight, enjoy a performance from the Singing Farmer. The awards categories to watch out for tonight are Mixed, Pig, Poultry and Sheep Farmer of the Year. It is also the penultimate part of the A-Z of farming.

We have a look at some of the entries in the Farm Inventions competition, and award our Young Farmer, Farm Innovator and Environmental Champion. Then we finish the show with the big announcement of the Farmers Weekly Farmer of the Year, chosen from all of the winners of the categories.
