Diversification event
We are sorry to announce that we have made the decision to postpone the upcoming Diversification event in Northamptonshire and Suffolk due to concerns over COVID-19.
Over the past few weeks we have been closely monitoring the situation and have been adhering to the advice issued each day by the Government and Public Health England. To ensure a safe event for all we feel that it is best to postpone this event until the situation has been contained.
We will update you in due course with details of when we plan to run this event later in the year. In the meantime, we urge you to take care of yourself during this difficult time.
Thank you for your understanding.
Be inspired and get the advice you need to grow and secure your farming income
Farm diversification has become an even more important topic in agriculture, with 65% of UK farms already diversified in some way. The remaining 35% are starting or will need to start thinking of adding new business activities to traditional farming in order to future-proof their livelihood and already established business.
The Farmers Weekly Diversification event brings you a day full of key individuals and experts in their fields of farm diversification to share their knowledge, stories and advice.
This is an opportunity for you to source information and advice on farm diversification funding, grants for diversification, planning, new products, new services, new ideas, troubleshooting, business tips, marketing tools, networking, inspiring keynote sessions, like-minded professionals, potential partnerships and much more.
The second event of the series of three farm diversification events will be held at West Lodge Farm Park in Northamptonshire, award winning farm park run by the Dee family where children and adults of all ages can have hands on experiences of farm and country life. There are so many opportunities to explore the whole farm; the livestock, the walks and nature trails, the fields, the streams and the machinery.
