WRECKERS YARD: Reversible Ford TW15 will never catch on

Turning the plough on a steep headland with one wheel in the furrow flipped this Ford TW15.
This gives a whole new meaning to the term reversible ploughing.
These pictures were taken about 20 years ago on a farm in Wotton, Oxfordshire but have recently been scanned to bring these old slides to life.
Turning on a steep headland, the momentum of swinging the plough over and slipping into a furrow conspired to tip this poor Ford TW15 onto its side.
Apparently the only damage was to the wing mirror and the driver’s pride!
Thanks to Michael Green for sending these great pictures in.
