Lamma 2025: Weeks name revived for lower-cost trailers
Richard Western has revived the Weeks brand for use on a lower-spec trailer that’s kinder on the pocket.
Much of the design is based on the firm’s popular Suffolk model, but it features conventional box-section steel in the chassis rather than heavier-duty dual C-section profile.

Construction of the post-free monocoque has been simplified too, with the tapered body featuring 4mm steel in the floor and 3mm on the sides.
A single five-stage ram carries out tipping duties and it comes with a hydraulic tailgate and rubber-cushioned, height adjustable drawbar as standard.
As for running gear, the standard setup includes agricultural-spec axles, hydraulic brakes and super single tyres, with commercial axles, air brakes and 560mm flotation tyres on the options list.
Just one 11t model is available, but more could be added if demand is sufficient.
Prices for a base-spec grain trailer start at about £15,000, with the pictured example sporting silage sides and flotation types coming in at about £20,000.
