Massey Ferguson launches enhanced tractor customisation
Pretty much anything from personalised seat covers to a tyre pressure management system can be added to new Massey Ferguson tractors following the creation of an MF By You boutique workshop at the factory in Beauvais, France.
Big enough to have 10 fresh-off-the-line tractors worked on at once, the customisation facility enables special equipment or comfort, appearance and convenience features to be added before the machines are shipped to dealers and customers.
MF factory technicians ensure tractors modified under the programme comply with statutory regulations and homologation requirements, and they are covered by the regular Massey Ferguson warranty.

One of the first tractors to go through the process is a 225/245hp MF 8S.225 Dyna-VT that will be exhibited at the Royal Highland Show (22-25 June) before heading to its owner in Norfolk.
In addition to being fitted with Nokian Tractor King tyres with their unusual double lug tread pattern, the bespoke tractor is finished in black, has smartphone support and is fitted with drinks bottle and can holders in the cab, along with seat covers embroidered with the customer’s name.
Practical enhancements in what Massey Ferguson describes as a “comprehensive” MF By You catalogue include special rims and tyres that are not part of the regular options list, and a central tyre inflation system to actively manage pressures for different tasks.
Mounting an MF Guide satellite signal receiver on the high-visibility Visio cab roof, which has a large glass panel at the front, can also be done at the new facility – along with tinted windows, cab floor mats and other items that create an individual appearance for someone’s new pride and joy.
