Kubota’s M7004 tractors rejigged for easier maintenance

Kubota has improved access to key components on its latest M7 tractors by tweaking the positions of the front cooling pack and the tanks for both diesel and AdBlue.

The trio of M7004 models, which run from 130-175hp, also benefit from redesigned cab steps to ease entry and exit, a faster quad-core processor for the K-Monitor touchscreen, and a new parking brake integrated within the forward/reverse shuttle.

Aside from that, the line-up is much as before.

Power is provided by a 6.1-litre, four-cylinder Kubota engine and there’s a choice of two transmissions: a five-range, six-speed powershift or the firm’s KVT stepless drive, now with updated droop settings.

The launch of these mildly titivated M7s coincides with Kubota’s 50th anniversary in Europe.

To mark the occasion, it will be producing 50 models with a “special edition” orange and black wrap.
