Fendt unveils Cargo 6 front loader for 700 Vario tractors

Fendt has unveiled a front loader that is set to accompany its new generation of 700 Vario tractors.

Named the Cargo 6, the loader is the first from Fendt to be fully independent, so operators can use all of the tractor’s spool valves while it is attached.

It has a continuous lift capacity of 3,500kg, peaking at a maximum of 4,150kg, while lift height is up to 4.85m.

New functions come by way of the “memo” setting, which is particularly useful for machines with multiple operators. This allows boom and tool positions, such as lift height and tilt angle, to be stored as pre-sets to avoid nicking low roofs.

There is also a hydraulic locking mechanism that enables changing the tools in any position, and Fendt has added a shaking function, for jettisoning stubborn materials.

At the top of the range, the CargoProfi model has an integrated weighing function that can give a weight reading at the push of a button; this is also connected to the firm’s Varioterminal, which gives operators access to loading data, such as target weights.

The loader will be available from the end of 2023, and is exclusive to the Gen7 700 Vario series tractors.
