Deutz-Fahr enters orchard market with 5115 DS TTV
Among its regular dramatically styled stockman and arable tractors, SDF will enter a new market segment for Deutz-Fahr tractors in the UK by showing the diminutive new 5115 DS TTV at Lamma.
Small it may be – it’s an orchard / horticulture tractor less than 1.4m wide – but it’s packed with big tractor technology.

For one thing, being a TTV model, the 113hp machine has a stepless transmission.
For another, it can have front end suspension with double wishbones and a hydraulic cylinder for each wheel rather than a suspended beam axle to provide active ride height and anti-dive/roll characteristics.
It can also feature selectable low-ratio steering to minimise wheel twirling during tight turns and also a steering rear axle to complement the 60deg turning angle of the front wheels for extra manoeuvrability in the confines of an orchard.
The 5115 DS TTV is one of five models – there are two with a three-cylinder SDF Farmotion engine of 88hp and 97hp, and three slightly longer wheelbase versions with four-cylinder Farmotion diesels with 88hp, 102hp and 113hp.
