Agritechnica 2023: McCormick six-cylinder tractors get larger cab and new controls
McCormick has treated its six-cylinder X7.6 and X8 tractor ranges to a new cabin with 14% more internal space and updated controls on the right-hand console.
The so-called “clever cab” has a larger windscreen and thermal efficiency has been improved by switching to higher-grade Saint Gobain glass.
This is said to make the cab more comfortable in both summer and winter.

A plush air-suspended seat has been introduced too, which has 120mm of travel and comes with the option of climate control.
On the outside, there are new powerful LED headlights.
Six X7.6 models are available with power ranging from 190 to 240hp and buyers can choose semi-powershift or CVT transmissions.
Upgrading to the larger X8 gives access to either 273 or 313hp models, both of which have CVTs.
