Tillage 2009: New cultivator from Quivogne

Quivogne’s Saturn cranked leg 3m cultivator was doing a turn on the demo plots on the back of a 130hp Case IH.
The 12 curved tines work at a depth of 6-8in, and turn soil at a shallow depth, aerating rather than burying. Two rows of overlapping wavy discs chop, mix and level soil disturbed by the legs and a set of levelling fingers finishes the job off.
Folding 4m and 5m versions are currently being developed. Price: ÂŁ12,000.
