LWC launches its biggest 3cu m toe-tip grain bucket
Demand for increased handling capacity as farms grow and produce bigger volumes of grain and oilseed crops has prompted Leeds-based LWC to develop its largest toe-tip bulk handling bucket.
The 3.02cu m version joins an existing range of High Tip buckets that runs from 0.74cu m to 1.98cu m in 2.13m and 2.31m widths designed for loading and handling machines from skid-steer and compact wheeled loaders upwards.

LWC’s newcomer is slightly wider at 2.62m and is intended for loading shovels and high-capacity telescopic handlers.
Adding about a metre to the host loader’s discharge height – as well as additional forward reach – compared with a regular bucket of similar volume, the High Tip 3.02cu m is constructed from heavy-duty mild steel and comes with a 200x20mm reversible bolt-on wear plate to protect the leading edge.
Bolt-on attachment brackets enable the bucket to be used with different loader backplate designs and to be swapped to an alternative mounting arrangement if required.
There are two double-acting hydraulic cylinders to tip the bucket, with rubber stops protecting the cradle and dampening the inevitable “bang” when it returns to the filling position.
Remote greasing points provide easy access for routine maintenance.
The bucket’s £8,995 list price includes the bolt-on attachment brackets and wear plate, hydraulic pipes and fittings, and carriage within the UK mainland.
