Lamma 2024: Kubota’s diddy 4815-2 telehandler lands in UK
UK farmers can finally get their mitts on Kubota’s dinky 4815-2 telehandler, several years after their European counterparts.
It stands just 2m high and has a sub-2.5m turning circle, making it ideal for cleaning out broiler houses and the like.

Under the hood is the company’s own 44hp, three-cylinder engine, which powers a Rexroth hydrostatic transmission good for 25kph.
There’s only one model but three spec levels, the poshest of which (about £56,000 on-farm) includes air-conditioning and an air-suspended seat.
The mid-ranger goes without the luxuries, while the cheapest is a “lightweight” version of 2.7t that can be towed on a flatbed trailer.
Reach is 4.8m, it will lift 1.5t, and all UK machines will come with a Euro headstock.
