Telehandler and pivot-steer price guide 2016

We have been busy gathering together specs and prices for telehandlers and pivot-steer loaders that will be on sale next year.

Our guide covers everything from the smallest Avant cabless machines right up to the largest ag-spec loaders with lift heights of up to 10.6m. So you shouldn’t have any problems spotting a machine to suit your farm and budget.

Demand from large arable enterprises and the AD sector has seen the big names all launch larger and more powerful models. JCB’s 560-80 now has a 7.9m reach and a lift capacity of 6t, while Manitou’s MLT960 can get 6t off the ground and reach to 9m.

There are also a number of ag-spec machines with lift heights of more than 10m, but the penalty is a slightly lower lift capacity.

Farmers in the market for a small pivot-steer machine also have a healthy number of machines to choose from, with new names such as NC and Pichon entering the market in the past 18 months.

Sliding sales numbers for new machines and a bumper stock of second-hand models on the market should mean there is room for a bit of haggling, too.
