Tractor brand McCormick and precision specialist Topcon have struck an agreement to make fitting satellite guidance systems to the red tractors a simple task.

Parent company Argo Tractors will now install Topcon hardware on to tractors at its factories so the touch-screen displays will work seamlessly along with section control and data transfer.

In the UK, the deal means McCormick distributor AgriArgo and Topcon specialist LH Agro Ltd will work together to offer customers advice before installing the system on new tractors.  

There is also the option for existing users to have LH Agro retrofit a suitable product on to a McCormick tractor. New customers should place orders with their McCormick dealer.
