DataConnect and Gatekeeper extend software offerings

Farm businesses across the world can now make use of the DataConnect platform that allows mixed-branded fleets to view information on a single platform.

Manufacturers including the CNH trio – Case IH, Steyr and New Holland – have joined Claas, John Deere and farm management platform 365Farmnet in offering the service.

It means that users of Case IH AFS Connect machines and New Holland’s MyPLM Connect can exchange cloud data with Deere’s Operation Center and Claas Telematics.

Meanwhile, Gatekeeper has launched a major integration with Claas that will allow farmers and advisors to wirelessly transmit data sets between the German firm’s machines and the software platform.

Previously, this involved users downloading collected field data from the tractor, forager or combine onto a USB, before loading it to Gatekeeper manually.

The new arrangement means that data is accessible all the time and stored securely, making it possible to instantly load Gatekeeper boundaries to Claas’ Telematics platform.
