New Landquip XRF sprayer range goes to 15m and 1,200 litres

Suffolk-based sprayer maker Landquip has launched a new mounted range to plug the gap between its small, amenity-focused machines and larger arable applicators.
As such, the XRFs get rear cross-fold booms in widths of 12-15m, putting them above the firm’s 6-10m tiddlers and just shy of its 18-30m professional offerings.
They come with stainless spray lines, mono or tri-jet nozzle bodies, and independent spring suspension on each side.

For added protection, there’s also two-direction break-back tips and adjustable protection skids.
Spray height can be set anywhere between 30cm and 2.1m, and, through one double-acting spool, the boom folds to a compact 2.6m for transport.
Three plastic tanks are available – 800, 1,000 or 1,200 litres – plus a 65-litre system wash tank and another 20 litres for rinsing hands.
The shape of these tanks apparently gives the sprayers a low centre of gravity and their close-coupled design makes for good weight distribution on the 80-150hp tractor that Landquip recommends matching them with.
As they have been designed for small- to medium-sized arable and veg growers wanting the build quality of a bigger, high-spec sprayer, but not necessarily the output, Landquip is offering a raft of optional extras.
These include a choice of manual or automatic section control (three, five or seven sections), GPS rate control and GPS mapping.
Prices start at £12,750.
