Bigger Lexis joins Kuhn’s entry-level trailed sprayer range
Kuhn has added a new top model to its entry-level Lexis trailed sprayer range, taking tank capacity to 3,800 litres.
It joins the existing 2,400- and 3,000-litre variants and can be paired with steel booms up to 24m wide or aluminium versions to 28m.
However, the company says it remains a compact and lightweight machine, tipping the scales at a smidge over 3t unladen and measuring a modest 6.9m long.
This should make it reasonably easy to back into corners, particularly when it’s paired with the Track Assist gyroscopic steering axle.

The cheapest option is to stick with Kuhn’s simple twin-valve Manuset plumbing system, but this can be upgraded to the electronically controlled Diluset+, and models specced with a centrifugal pump have a fill rate of 700 litres/min.
Extras include individual nozzle control, pulse-width modulation and the Boom Assist Extreme height and levelling system.
Spray functions can be controlled using Kuhn’s basic canbus box, a fancier CCI 800 or 1200 touchscreen, or any other isobus terminal.
Prices for a Lexis 3800 start at £46,603.
