New Tramspread nurse tank offers 90cu m capacity

Tramspread has introduced its first range of nurse tanks, available with capacities of 45, 70 and 90cu m.

Rather than trying to thread a standard axle through the slurry box, the Suffolk maker has opted to fit an individual lifting/lowering ram on each wheel unit.

These sit in sidewall recesses, avoiding the need to create an axle channel through the base of the tank that would potentially prevent all the slurry from being unloaded at just one end.

Other features include air brakes, hydraulic suspension, and a hydraulically pivoting drawbar to help negotiate rutted gateways and position the tank on uneven terrain.

Also thrown in as standard are 10-stud wheels fitted with 385/65 R22.5 tyres, a plexiglass sight gauge, internal and external aluminium access ladders and an LED light kit.

The tanks can accommodate most inlet and outlet port types, including up-and-over pipes and a docking funnel for suction arms.

Prices start at £30,000 for a basic 45cu m model.
