Budget SlurryKat Farmline trailing shoe range goes to 10.5m
SlurryKat has added two new width options to its budget Farmline trailing shoe range.
The 9m and 10.5m models also gain a ruck of improvements over the 6m and 7.5m versions they join, including the ability to pivot the shoe-carrying box-section beam out of work.
This should make it easier for operators to complete headland turns and, in particular, reversing manoeuvres that might otherwise have required the wings to be folded.

They also come with galvanised frames that, according to SlurryKat, are some of the lightest on the market – the 9m version weighs 600kg and the 10.5m is 636kg.
The extra width comes by way of hydraulically operated flip-over end sections so, when they’re folded vertically, the transport height is no greater than that of the smaller models.
Impact protection is provided by a shear-bolt system, rather than a sprung assembly that can become troublesome as the machine ages.
Slurry is channelled from the tanker through the Northern Irish maker’s V36 ventilated macerator distribution head on the 9m, or a V42 version on the 10.5m.
It then runs via UV-resistant flexible hoses to the boots, which are spaced 250mm apart.
Prices are £15,350 and £16,750. The firm also offers a fancier Premium Plus range for use with tankers or umbilical systems.
