Rare vintage Ferguson tractor collection up for auction
A Norfolk farmer who recently sold his collection of more than 175 rare classic tractors is putting another stash of vintage machinery up for sale.
Paul Rackham’s Hunday Collection of Ferguson tractors, implements and support vehicles will go under the hammer later this month with an estimated total value of more than £400,000.

Prospective buyers will have more than 73 tractors, 100 implements and piles of assorted memorabilia and literature to place their bids on.
These include models from some of Harry Ferguson’s earliest collaborations with David Brown and Henry Ford, right through to his own T20 models and later Massey Ferguson tractors.
There are also several rare implements, including a replica tractor-mounted combine, a side-mounted baler and a manless bale-and-sack loading device.
The Hunday Collection was started by tractor collector John Moffat in 1966 and by the year 2000 he had amassed what it thought to be the largest gathering of vintage Ferguson-designed tractors in the world.
In 2004 he sold the collection to Mr Rackham, who moved it to his Norfolk farm and continued to add to it. After acting as curator for the past 12 years, Mr Rackham has decided to sell the collection so that he can focus on a new challenge.
The sale will take place at Mr Rackham’s Camp Farm, Roundham, Norfolk, on Saturday 14 November. More details and sales catalogues can be obtained from Cambridgeshire auctioneers Cheffins and Suffolk-based Clarke and Simpson, which will be jointly handling the sale.
