Polaris launches Ranger Diesel UTV with more torque
Polaris has unveiled its new Ranger Diesel HD farm buggy that brings more torque and extra pulling power to the table.
It comes with a 1,028cc Kohler three-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, which Polaris says works more quietly than before. It also gets an aluminium cylinder head to trim a few grams from the overall weight.
Cab options include anything from canvas doors and a plastic windscreen up to a proper glass set-up with electric windows.
The roof and rear panel also comes as standard, along with 10in of steering rake adjustment and space for three adults.

Payload capacity is 680kg, with a tipping rear box that can handle 454kg and a full-sized pallet. Towing capacity is 907kg, which the company claims is one of the best on the market.
Ground clearance is a shade over 30cm and there’s also Polaris’ VersaTrac mode that unlocks the rear differential for easier, tighter turns.
Standard gear also includes descent control, automatic four-wheel braking and a new seven-pin trailer socket.
Prices start at £12,199 for the new models.
