Peartrack GPS tracker for tractors and telehandlers

Manchester firm PearTrack Systems’ self-contained GPS tracking system has a 10-year battery life and was designed for shipping containers. But the company reckons it could be equally useful to keep tabs on tractors and telehandlers.

The GPS/GSM device can be covertly fitted somewhere on the machine and automatically sends an alert if moved, alerting the owner and showing its position anywhere in the country.

It’s a web-based system, so users can find the position of the tracking devices to within a few metres on an online map. The company’s website is being updated, but should be back online soon.
