New Holland launches T7000 and T6000 series

New Holland had a strong presence at this year’s LAMMA show and used the event to officially launch two new tractor ranges, the T7000 and the smaller T6000 series.
The Basildon based manufacturer housed its product range under a large marquee which was a welcome shelter from the occasional showers and the gusty conditions on the first day of the show.
Launched to the media a few weeks ago (Farmers Weekly 15/12/06) the T7000 took centre stage alongside the new T6000 models.
The T6000 models are a replacement for the TS-A tractors and are available in two primary levels of specification, with one model – the T6040 – available in high specification dubbed Elite.
New Holland says the T6000 Delta range – consisting of four models – are mechanical injection entry level T6000 units and bridge the 101hp to 126hp power range.
The T600 Plus models – five in total – also feature mechanical injection, but power is extended from 101hp to 141hp, transmission options are in the format of a 24×24 Dual Command or a four speed powershift 16×16 electro command box.
To increase operator comfort the T6000 Plus models are available with cab and front axle suspension and a have a claimed cab noise level of 70dBA. The two top models in the Plus designated range are available with a 50kph transmission.
A top spec model – designated Elite – is available in the guise of a T6040 model only, the primary difference over the Delta and Plus models is the use of an electronically governed engine with common rail injection and engine power management.
This engine power management allows New Holland to boost the T6040 Elite’s power from a standard 121hp to 141hp and claims better fuel economy over either Delta or plus designated machines.
The T6000 Elite features a Horizon cab with air conditioning as standard. Comfort ride cab suspension, a deluxe air seat and performance monitor are all as standard.
Pricing for the T6000 range varies according to specification but the entry level 101hp T6010 Delta starts from ÂŁ32,315. Prices range through to ÂŁ50,326 for a 141hp T6070 Plus model, the highest powered model in the T6000 series.
