Landquip sprayers now fit all load-platform Fastracs
Suffolk sprayer maker Landquip says it now offers demountable sprayers for all JCB Fastrac tractors with load platforms.
The new sprayers have wider back frames that allow the boom to fold parallel alongside bigger cabs, thereby cutting transport width.
They also have new boom suspension, a hydraulic anti-yaw system and a trapezium levelling system that the company says is ideally suited to the Fastrac’s high operating speeds.
Other features include easy-to-use multi boom switching and a CANBUS-wired spray rate control system that works with the firm’s continuous recirculation and air on-off switching.
Landquip also claims that its system with 2500-litre fibreglass tank and aluminium booms gives better load distribution and weighs in at less than some 2000-litre demount systems. Demounting the sprayer simply involves removing four pins and only the pto has to be removed before jacking.
Options include electronic tank contents gauge, boom assist and auto boom raise/lower for headland turns, GPS auto boom switching and auto-steer. A 24m 2500 litre demount costs about £27,500.
