Lamma: Lemken Gemini sprayer and Rubin plough

Lemken plans to launch a new sprayer front tank at Lamma and there will also be the first showing of the company’s new semi-mounted disc harrow – the Rubin 12, following two years of field testing.

The Gemini front-mounted spray tank not only increases sprayer capacity by 1,100 litres when used in conjunction with a rear-mounted sprayer but also helps to balance the weight loading of the tractor.

Designed for use with Lemken’s Sirius sprayer, the new tank has an integrated 120-litre clean water tank as standard. It is available in two versions – one which can be used for liquid fertiliser, and one having a hydraulically powered agitation system and can be used with tank-mixed crop protection products.

The Rubin 12 disc harrow has two rows of serrated concave discs and can work as deep as a tined cultivator, says Lemken. An “impact” harrow behind the first row of discs mixes and crumbles the soil and a harrow behind the second row levels the soil. Semi-mounted versions have working widths of 4m to 6m.
