Lamma 2015: John Deere shows revamped 6R tractors

Revamped 6R Series tractors and a new addition to the 6M Series from John Deere make their UK debut at Lamma.
The top three 6R tractors have new engines with more power and torque from a 6.8-litre engine that now has selective catalytic reduction (SCR) in addition to particulates filter and oxidation catalyst to meet Euro Stage 4 / US Tier 4 Final emissions compliance.
PowrQuad Plus semi-powershift and AutoPowr IVT drive options are joined by the 24×24 DirectDrive unit with eight powershift steps and the tractors are believed to be more manoeuvrable than their predecessors.

In the cab, the latest CommandArm seat console as already introduced on 7R and 8R tractors makes its debut with electronic joystick and latest display, FarmSight-ready electronics and optional JDLink telematics with remote display access and wireless data transfer.
Further down the performance scale, the 115hp 6105M joins the 120-175hp 6M Series as a small-frame “standard” tractor for livestock farmers wanting a bit more kit than the 5115M of the same power offers.
