Developed in Holland, the Vredo Agri Twin overseeder uses pairs of discs to reseed existing grass leys.

By working shallow, it is said to be ideal for stony ground, where ploughing and reseeding is a headache. The company says that sowing 25-30kg/ha of highly productive ryegrass every year will maintain sward productivity and avoid the need for full reseeds.

While a 2.9m box-drill version has a price-tag of £19,000, the 5.8m model (pictured above) with an air seeder costs £35,000. Vredo kit is brought into the UK by JC Machinery
