Italian rotor stump-grinder
On first appearances, the Rotor stump-grinder looks like an over-grown post-hole-borer.
Built in Italy, the pto-driven machine screws its way into stumps, chopping the wood and bringing it to the surface.
The chips can then be used as a mulch or composted.
Available for fitting to 360 diggers or a tractor linkage, a 1m wide borer requires 125hp and costs from 33,000 euros
